School District #29 offers a caring place for students to be after school hours. Club programs and services promote and enhance the development of boys and girls by instilling a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging and influence.
Our programs before and after school provide a safe place to learn and grow – all while having fun. The "before school" program is at Lakeside Elementary from 7:45- 8:30 AM. This is particularly helpful to parents who must arrive at work by 8:00 AM. Students who attend are also able to eat the school breakfast at the usual rate.
The "after school" program at Somers Middle School is open five days a week until 6:00 PM for students in grades K-8. Students from Lakeside Elementary may ride the bus to Somers to participate. The fee is $20.00 per year. Scholarships are available.
