The National PTA was created to meet a profound challenge: to better the lives of children. Throughout its 100-year history, the PTA has become a powerful voice speaking on behalf of all children, a relevant resource for parents and a strong advocate for public education.
Today, the National PTA is the largest volunteer child advocacy organization in the nation with over 6 million members, Montana alone has 8,000 members. The PTA has been and will continue to be a leader in reminding our nation of its obligation to our children.
The National PTA lends a collective voice to children where they need to be heard: at home and schools; in urban, rural and suburban communities; and in our nation's capital.
