Somers Middle School

Welcome Back to School!

My name is Danielle Blanc and this is my fourth year teaching at Somers Middle School.  I am originally from Walla Walla, WA where I was raised on a wheat farm and spent my free time outside.  I made my way to Montana to attend college and stayed because of the hiking, backpacking and fly fishing.  In 2005, I graduated from Carroll College with a degree in Biology and more recently finished my Master of Education at the University of Montana.

I look forward to seeing everyone in the classroom after such an awesome summer!  This year, both the 7th and 8th graders will have the opportunity to do a lot of hands-on science and learn about the world around them.  The 8th graders should look forward to participating in Science Fair in March and the 7th graders can anticipate learning the Native Plant Garden that was installed last spring!

I look forward to meeting students and parents.  Feel free to contact me at anytime.
