Hello, my name is Tara Trotter and I am the school-based therapist at Somers and Lakeside schools. I provide individual, group, and family therapy to students at School District #29. I work alongside Tina Lerum in a program called Community-School Comprehensive Treatment program (CSCT).
The CSCT program is administered by Kalispell Regional Behavioral Health and individual school districts through the Montana Office of Public Instruction. Students are referred to our services by parents, school staff, and other providers or agencies in the community.
I received my Master’s Degree in Counseling from the University of Oregon and a Bachelor’s Degree in Therapeutic Recreation from the University of Colorado.
I have been a licensed clinical professional counselor in the state of Montana since 1995. I have two sons – one, a senior at FHS, and another, attending college at MSU. My favorite activities are kayaking, swimming and reading. I have been coaching the 8th grade girls' volleyball team since 2006.
If you have any questions, please feel free to call me at 857-3661 or 844-2208.
