Greetings, families.
The board of trustees met on Monday, December 18th, for a succinct meeting with only a few
items of new business. Minutes from the previous meeting were approved. Superintendent Price summarized the Flathead County statistical report of schools for 2023. report outlines enrollment, spending, and funding for all local schools.
The PTA representative reported on another successful Holidayfest! Over 700 people attended the event, and they raised over $13,000! Thank you to all the staff, parents, students, vendors, and visitors who helped make this event a success! We are grateful for all the PTA does and how they continually invest all the funds they make right back into the schools!
Consent agenda items were approved, including the coaching contracts for girl’s basketball.
We look forward to the season beginning in the new year and are grateful for Coaches Barrett,
Gillespie, Alford, and Aldrich leading the teams. We also welcome Mr. Cooney as head
custodian at SMS.
Expenditures, including payroll, were approved. Upcoming meetings are as follows:
● Policy Committee: January 10th, 3:00 PM @ SMS
● Finance Committee: January 10th, 4:00 PM @ SMS
● Regular Board Meeting: January 15th, 6:00 PM @ LES
