After careful consideration of reports from the local and National Weather Service, and in consultation with our Transportation providers, the decision has been made to close Somers and Lakeside schools for Wednesday, December 21st.
The forecast calls for brutally cold temperatures with extreme wind chills, widespread snow, and blowing snow. For the safety of our students and staff it seems best not to put people on the road tomorrow morning.
We wish you a happy and safe holiday. Classes will resume on Wednesday, January 4th.
