Kindergarten teacher Ms. Riech was awarded a $500.00 grant from Logan Health. She plans to purchase a Social Skills Curriculum and materials for a Calming Center. Her goal is to help students develop self-awareness, perspective taking, and social problem-solving skills.

Somers and Lakeside schools have received a Healthy Meals Incentives (HMI) Recognition Award from Action for Healthy Kids, Chef Ann Foundation, and RMC Health for our innovative strategies that provide nutritious school meals.
