Summer Cleaning & Maintenance Position Available at Somers Middle School
This role is a deep dive into facility care while the hallways are empty. It’s perfect for someone who prefers project-based work, like painting and specialized cleaning.
The Details
Duration: June 1 through August 31.
Commitment: 30–40 hours per week or Full-time hours for the summer.
Compensation: $18–$20 per hour.
Deadline: Applications close April 24.
Primary Responsibilities
If you take this role, expect to be hands-on with
Deep Cleaning: Scrubbing floors and surfaces that are usually hard to reach during the school year.
Floor Care: Carpet cleaning and likely some floor waxing or buffing.
Refreshments: Painting walls and trim to get the building looking sharp for the fall.
Detail Work: Window cleaning and general maintenance tasks.
